Can I change things like images and text?

A: The simple answer is yes! Our simple block editor means that you can add text and image sections wherever you like. However, there are a few limitations. We set up the site layout and design for you, you won’t be able to change this part. Anywhere we have put images and blocks of text, you’ll be able to edit text and swap images by using our custom-built Word-Press editor. So if you change something in the business, it’s easy to update the site yourself. If you want a site that’s customised or a different layout, speak to one of our team about a bespoke site.

I want to sell some products online, can I add an online shop?

A: You can’t do this on the StarterPackage, but you can on Business and Advanced. We don’t supply or build the eCommerce part, but we can point you in the right direction to get set up on a system that integrates really well with our platform and is really easy to install.

I don’t have any content! Can you help?

A: Of course! When you sign up, we’ll have a chat with you and find out what you need. Then we’ll send you a form with some questions, your answers to those are your content! On Business and Advanced packages, we’ll help to edit and improve this for you. Our in-house copywriting and content creation team are happy to discuss this with you too. It’s not included in your package though so would incur an additional cost. Contact us for more information.

I don’t have a logo or any particular branding, can you help?

A: Absolutely! Our in-house design team can work with you to develop a logo and branding style for your business. Please contact us for more information and prices.

How many pages do I need?

The more pages you have, the more search engines will pick up on your site! So think about the type of pages you’d like. Some popular ones are:
• Home
• About Us
• Products
• Services
• Find/Contact Us
• Opening times
• Blog/News
With Business and Advanced packages, you can add unlimited pages! We build the template and you add the content, simple as that.

Do I need a Google account?

By a Google account, we mean a user account that can be used to access and authorise many of Google’s online services. Below are some of the tools and applications which require a Google account:

1. Google Analytics
2. Google Search Console
3. Google Maps
4. Google Workspace including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Calendar
5. YouTube
6. Google Business Profile

Can I take online bookings?

A: You can add a link to a separate booking page like AirBnB or TicketTailor etc, and integrate booking widgets for systems like Free2Book – but you would need to set this up with the third party and pay any associated fees directly to them.
If you have a B&B, hotel, glamping pods or self catering accommodation, our specialist accommodation websites might be a much better fit, though! Get in touch with a member of the team to discuss your needs.

I already have a domain name, can I use this?

A: Yes you can. If you have an existing domain name and would like to use this, we can transfer the registration and hosting to your new site as part of every package.
If you already have a website, we won’t switch the domain over until your new site is ready to go live, so you won’t have any downtime and won’t lose your search engine footprint.

Will my site be secure?

A: Yes it will, all of our sites include an SSL secure site certificate (this is what gives you the padlock icon in the search bar). We also host all of our sites ourselves, on secure, UK based servers. Nothing is outsourced.

Will my site get found on Google?

A: We include SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) with all of our packages. This means that we’ll optimise each page on your site so that it performs well in search engines with things like keyword phrases, meta and alt tags.
There’s a lot of competition out there, to help your site stay relevant and fresh in search rankings, make sure it gets updated regularly and keep adding that content!

Can I edit the site myself once it’s set up?

A: Yes you can. In fact, our custom-built WordPress platform makes it very straightforward for you to make changes to your site. You can add images, text, blocks, whole new pages and much more. All of our sites also include a free training session with a member of our team (if you need it) to show you around the system and how to use it. Updating your site regularly is really important, as well as keeping your content up to date, it helps to keep you visible on search engines.
